Description: You will be the Operations Engineer (Level 2) for the Production Operations - Tooling team. Our team supports tooling design and fabrication to enable internal customer missions.
What You Will Be Doing: As the Operations Engineer (Level 2) you will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional activities that ensure high-quality tool production and continuous process improvement. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Communicate and collaborate daily with Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Production Planning, and leadership to align on tooling requirements. • Review manufacturing documentation and develop clear work instructions for tool fabrication. • Create manufacturing plans, perform make-or-buy analyses, and identify production risks. • Lead process-improvement projects that mature manufacturing and sell-off processes for tooling. • Support the development of quality metrics and ensure delivered tools meet customer specifications.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
