As an Operations Financial Analyst, you are responsible for accounting support across the assigned business(es) within the Michels Family of Companies. You are responsible for compiling, analyzing, and presenting monthly financial results while evaluating performance against key targets and providing insights that explain underlying drivers to support executive decision‑making. This role also acts as a financial steward for Michels by ensuring strong financial management practices, processes, and controls are consistently executed. You will support the financial planning, analysis, and reporting of external facing as well as cost-based businesses within the MICON groups.

Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, update and improve monthly, quarterly and annual operational reporting and analytics. Measure, analyze and report key financial performance metrics
Provide resources and information to meet business needs. Maintain open communication with business leads to ensure coordination of finance and accounting needs
Assist with educating business leaders on financial results. Provide planning, reporting and forecasting support
Work closely with Project Controls personnel within assigned business(es) to understand job financials, as well as strengthen data captured and information communicated. Provide job planning, reporting, and forecasting support
Establish and perform data entry against jobs/businesses, including journal entries, job set-up/modifications, and billings
Manage as well as evaluate the appropriateness and coding of accrued costs
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with preference to Finance or Accounting, and 2-5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
Experience with ERP & financial reporting tools (Power BI)
Experience in consolidation and reporting (preferred)
A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
