About the Role

Foresight is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Intern to support our Project Management and Field Operations teams. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field who are looking to gain real-world experience in commercial construction. This role is anticipated to work 15-25 hours per week.


This internship provides exposure to both the office-based Project Management side and the Field Superintendent side of operations. Based on interest and company needs, interns may focus more heavily in one area while gaining visibility into the full lifecycle of a project.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on focus area and experience level, responsibilities may include:


Project Management Support

  • Assist with document control and project administration
  • Help manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders
  • Support budgeting and cost tracking processes
  • Assist with schedule updates and coordination meetings
  • Communicate with trade partners and internal team members


Field Operations Support

  • Assist Superintendents with daily jobsite coordination
  • Help track progress and quality control documentation
  • Participate in safety walks and jobsite meetings
  • Support punch list management and project closeout tasks

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Junior or Senior preferred (strong Sophomores considered)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

This role is primarily office-based but includes opportunities for jobsite visits. Interns interested in field-focused experience are encouraged to express that interest during the interview process.
