This is an opportunity to play a central role in building and scaling a program that makes a measurable impact in the lives of under-resourced boys.

Connor Kids Academy is a three-year enrichment program that uses sports as the hook to teach healthy habits and good choices. Through in-person events and a year-round app, participants build discipline, confidence, and life skills.

Launched in 2021 in one city, CKA now operates in five cities across three states, serving 350+ boys. Growth will continue.

    About the Role

This role is responsible for ensuring Connor Kids Academy's operations run at a consistently high level across all cities.

This is a "2-deep" role. You will start below the Director, with the goal of taking full ownership of day-to-day operations over time.

    • Hold staff, vendors, and partners accountable to CKA standards
    • Drive participant recruitment through school outreach and digital efforts
    • Implement and refine app engagement initiatives
    • Maintain operational data, track key metrics, and act on what the data shows
    • Identify inefficiencies and improve processes to support scale
    • Make decisions in real time to keep operations on track
    • Communicate clearly and proactively with participants and families

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience leading projects or operations
    • Strong ownership mentality and accountability
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent judgment and problem-solving ability
    • Strong organizational and systems-thinking skills
    • Ability to build trust with a wide range of people
    • Willingness to work 50+ hours per week, including weekends and overnight travel

    Preferred

    • Experience working with youth or community programs
    • Multi-site or operational experience
    • Sports background

    What You Get

    • The chance to get ownership with equity in The Connor Group ($5B in assets).
    • Work for a Top 50 workplace (Glassdoor).
    • Strong health benefits and industry-leading 401(k).
    • A performance-driven, reward-and-recognition culture
    • The opportunity to be part of a growing, high-impact organization.
