About the role

Summary:

Location: Farmington, New Mexico

The Operations Leader plays a critical role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient job execution, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and fostering employee development. This position serves as a key liaison between the service center, customers, and internal teams such as Sales and Purchasing. The Operations Leader directly supervises craftsmen and is responsible for driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Location: Farmington, New Mexico

REPORTS TO:

Service Center Manager

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

o Review work scopes and time estimates, ensuring efficient job execution

o Maintain direct customer contact and address needs

o Provide technical coaching and problem-solving support to craftsmen

o Ensure adherence to SEMS procedures, OEM, and customer specifications

o Manage resources, quality, and safety on the shop floor

o Conduct performance reviews and provide employee coaching

o Ensure craftsmen have necessary resources for safe and efficient work

o Support employees in setting and achieving performance and career development goals

o Coordinate on-the-job training, mentoring, and technical development opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS:

o 5+ years of Electro-Mechanical repair experience preferred

o Strong leadership and communication skills

o Available for 10-hour workdays (Mon-Fri) with weekend on-call duties on a rotating basis

o Skilled in identifying nonconformance issues and driving corrective actions

o Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across Sales, Operations, and Support teams
