Job Overview:
Pay Range: $34.00hr - $37.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Minimum of 5+ years of practical electrical experience.
- Strong commercial low-voltage electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional environments.
- Proven troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation experience with low-voltage systems.
- Background as a Commercial Electrician; residential or handyman experience is not sufficient.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work on-call or during emergencies, as required.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems in accordance with building codes and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on low voltage electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot low voltage electrical system malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand and power tools.
- Conduct performance tests and adjustments on low voltage electrical systems to meet specified requirements.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and work performed.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, regulations, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies and procedures at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and resolving issues professionally.
Nice to Have:
- Journeyman Electrician License or Card.
- Valid low voltage electrical license or certification.
- Experience with HVAC systems, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
