Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance Manager to oversee the safe, reliable, and profitable operation of a large industrial energy facility. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for plant operations, maintenance programs, regulatory compliance, outages, budgeting, contractor management, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Lead daily plant operations and maintenance activities.
- Direct plant personnel during routine operations, outages, and emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Lead equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
- Plan major maintenance activities, equipment overhauls, and long-term upgrades.
- Manage contractors, maintenance agreements, budgets, and operating costs.
- Monitor plant efficiency, availability, reliability, and overall performance.
- Develop employees through performance management, coaching, and training.
- Provide leadership with regular updates on plant risks and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 10+ years of power plant operations and maintenance experience.
- 3+ years of supervisory or plant leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of steam turbines, HRSGs, boilers, scrubbers, and baghouses.
- Experience with industrial water treatment systems.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Experience with outages, equipment overhauls, and root cause analysis.
- Strong safety, environmental compliance, budgeting, and contractor management experience.
- Hands-on leadership style with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license.
- Must meet the client’s U.S. citizenship requirement.
