About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician with a strong background in industrial controls to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of our manufacturing operations by performing electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of equipment. You’ll be relied on to troubleshoot complex systems, support continuous improvement projects, and maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on equipment to ensure 100% operational functionality.
  • Identify and log corrective maintenance needs while completing scheduled work orders.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including PLC controls, AC/DC motor controls, solid-state motor controls, advanced circuits, and grounding systems.
  • Interpret and utilize schematics, electrical drawings, and equipment manuals to support maintenance activities.
  • Conduct daily inspections, emergency repairs, and routine adjustments, while following a preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Understand and support company objectives related to productivity, yield, food safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and cost control.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, including GMP compliance, punctuality, hygiene, and professional workplace conduct.
  • Act as a resource to team members in resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Participate in safety teams and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide innovative solutions to recurring equipment problems and enhance system reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Industrial Controls or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and emergency repair.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a must.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take direction and ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
