Our client is part of a nationwide organization that serves multiple industries with waste management and a variety of environmental services. They are renowned for making our country and our industries better places by cleaning up and/or disposing of anything that can be hazardous to the environment or to our manufacturing facilities throughout the nation. Due to recent acquisitions of new facilities and company-wide growth, they are currently looking to hire a new Operations Manager.

Main duties include:

• Lead full P&L and operational budget of a small R&D/environmental office with roughly 10-20 employees
• Ensure full compliance with all OSHA and EPA regulatory standards
• Lead a safety committee and build a culture of safety throughout the entire organization
• Directly manage a team of CDL drivers who transport hazardous materials and waste
• Work directly with Project Managers for proposals of new business opportunities, occasionally traveling to new customer sites in the region
• Manage inventory on site

Qualifications include:

• BS in Business or Environmental Policy, or a similar technical degree
• At least 5-10 years of experience leading operations for ideally an environmental or industrial services organization
• Strong OSHA and EPA knowledge
• Experience managing the transportation of hazardous materials
• Exceptional experience driving a culture of safety and compliance
