Operations Manager

Beaver, PA

Base Salary + Comprehensive Benefits, 401(k), PTO and More (Salary open to discussion, starting around $70k)

Build Something Bigger

Our client is looking for an Operations Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading from the front. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you'll help drive the daily success of a busy branch while developing your team, improving operations, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service.

Working alongside the Branch Manager, you'll become a key part of the branch leadership team. When the Branch Manager is away, you'll confidently step in to keep operations moving, support your team, and make decisions that keep the business running smoothly.

If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, leading people, and making an impact every day, this is a role where your contributions will be noticed.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are exactly alike, but your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with the Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch.
  • Lead, coach, and support the Inside Sales team while fostering a positive, accountable culture.
  • Ensure customer orders, quotations, and deliveries are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Oversee purchasing, inventory management, and receiving to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with suppliers while managing pricing, delivery schedules, and vendor communications.
  • Coordinate daily delivery schedules to ensure customers receive products on time.
  • Help manage payroll reporting, employee scheduling, and timekeeping for warehouse and delivery staff.
  • Support branch compliance with DOT requirements, preventative maintenance programs, and company policies.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by helping oversee health and safety initiatives throughout the branch.
  • Continuously improve warehouse organization, workflow, and operational efficiency.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, product offerings, vendor changes, pricing, and market conditions.
  • Develop lasting relationships with customers by delivering outstanding service and helping solve challenges.
  • Participate in company meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas that improve processes, increase efficiency, and support continued branch growth.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.

You'll likely be successful if you have:

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a building materials, distribution, wholesale, or industrial environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to lead a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with purchasing, inventory management, customer service, or branch operations.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join a stable, growing organization where you'll have the ability to make a real impact on branch operations while continuing to grow your own career.

What You'll Receive

  • $70,000 to $80,000 base salary
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • 401(k)
  • Paid Time Off
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Long-term career growth opportunities
  • A collaborative team environment where your ideas and leadership matter

If this sounds like the right opportunity for you send a resume to bmcivor@talentsphere.ca or confidentially call me at 469 498 2002 ext 748. I look forward to speaking with you.
