Faulkner University''s College of Health Sciences (CHS) is seeking a qualified individual to serve as the Operations Manager. This individual will develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures for the Partnering in Alabama for Training in Healthcare (PATH) program and for the College of Health Sciences. The selected individual will support the efficient day-to-day operations of faculty, staff, and students through effective coordination, accurate record management, and clear communication. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position.
Summary of Duties:
- Coordinate and oversee logistics for PATH outreach initiatives, training programs, workshops, and community engagement activities
- Manage operational activities across PATH program initiatives, including the mobile clinic, simulation program, training programs, and fellowship programs
- Coordinate the planning, development, and implementation of the mobile clinic operations, including site selection, scheduling, staffing, and equipment management
- Develop, administer, evaluate, and continuously improve operational systems, policies, and procedures to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency
- Coordinate student placements and experiential learning opportunities in collaboration with academic programs across the college
- Serve as the primary liaison for external partners and stakeholders associated with the PATH program
- Support the onboarding, orientation, and training of new college employees to ensure a successful transition and integration
- Maintain and organize required documentation to support compliance, audits, accreditation requirements, and program reviews
- Monitor program expenditures, reconcile financial records, and maintain accurate budget tracking and reporting
- Assist with facilities management, procurement processes, and purchasing activities to support operational needs
- Provide administrative support for the daily operations of the Dean's Office
- Supervise, train, and provide guidance to student workers, ensuring effective performance and professional development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor''s degree, required; master''s degree in healthcare administration, public health, business or related field, preferred
- Minimum of 3 years office or managerial experience, required
- Healthcare operations, higher education, or workforce development experience, preferred
- Active member of the church of Christ
