Salary: $110,000.00 USD Annually - $140,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Judge Direct Placement is looking for a 1st Shift Operations Manager in Conroe, TX to oversee all daily operations across distribution and food manufacturing. This role is designed to free the owner to spend more time in the field driving sales and business development.
This is a local only, on site position with no relocation. The owner will work closely with this person and expects a leader who is organized, responsive, and comfortable in a hands on environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
•Food manufacturing experience is required
•Background in distribution operations or manufacturing leadership
•Foodservice experience is a strong plus
•Comfortable in a family owned, non corporate environment
•Willing to obtain SQF auditor certification if coming from distribution
•Thrives in a fast growth, entrepreneurial setting
•Strong communicator who can partner closely with a demanding, involved owner
•Must be local—no relocation offered
Key Responsibilities
•Run daily operations across 1st shift distribution and food manufacturing
•Oversee production, scheduling, inventory, logistics, and quality
•Maintain and improve food safety standards (including SQF)
•Lead and develop frontline staff
•Drive efficiency, throughput, and process improvements
•Serve as the operational counterpart to the owner
•Ensure alignment between sales, operations, and customer service
