Position Summary

Scientific Games is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the daily operations of a mission-critical lottery client environment. This individual will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, system health, service delivery, efficiency, quality, and adherence to company standards while serving as the primary point of accountability for the overall performance of the solution. The Operations Manager will lead a local support team, coordinate with centralized operational and technical groups, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support customer success and the company's strategic objectives within the gaming and lottery industry.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily operational functions across various departments, including production, logistics, and quality control, to ensure smooth workflows and timely delivery.
• Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Lead and mentor a team of operational staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to optimize resource utilization, reduce costs, and increase overall operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, product development, and finance, to align operational strategies with broader business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards, particularly within the gaming sector.
• Manage operational budgets, track expenditures, and report on financial performance to senior management.
• Oversee inventory management, supply chain logistics, and facilities maintenance to ensure optimal operational support.
• Address and resolve operational issues, customer complaints, and crises in a timely and effective manner.
• Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, trends, and recommendations for improvement to upper management.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex operations and driving process improvements.
• Strong understanding of operational best practices, lean manufacturing principles, and quality management systems (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Proficiency in project management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Prior experience within the gaming, lottery, or technology-driven industries is highly desirable.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence.
