JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all production operations, including surplus and repair value streams, inventory, parts, and material flow. This role focuses on achieving performance goals in safety, quality, delivery, customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, and productivity. The Operations Manager drives continuous improvement, develops team capability, and ensures efficient workflow, systems, and processes to support business growth.
This position requires a proactive leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on operational management. The successful candidate will foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement while driving efficiency and supporting company growth initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
·Lead and develop a diverse team of Operations Specialists, Technicians, and Support Staff.
·Build leadership capability through training, performance management, and succession planning.
·Manage daily operations to ensure on-time delivery, product quality, and optimal resource utilization.
·Develop and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
·Promote and enforce quality & safety standards in compliance with regulations and company policies.
·Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
·Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customer service to optimize processes and ensure customer satisfaction.
·Manage budgets, ensure cost control, and monitor financial performance of operational areas.
·Stay informed on industry trends and technology to improve production and service capabilities.
·Lead special operational projects, including new equipment integration and process optimization initiatives.
·May be modified from time to time; Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned

WORK SCHEDULE
This is a management level exempt position that requires a work schedule that will achieve the results and objectives identified by the company and the General Manager, Production Services.Generally, the company operates and most of those who will interface with this position work normal business hours, which are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, but several of the responsible areas have extended shifts beyond normal business hours.Nights and weekends may be worked at the Manager’s discretion based on current project and implementation needs, deadlines, and workload.
Time off will be granted with proper formal notice in accordance with company policy.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The environment is a mixed office and production environment. Dress attire is casual but professional. All employees are required to wear Radwell access card and “Radwear” (apparel with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received.Safety shoes are recommended.Closed-toe hard sole- shoes must be worn.Radwell ID Badge and Access card must be worn at all times.
