The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and quality.
- Manage and mentor a team of production supervisors and frontline staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of improving production efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement processes.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and developing production teams.
Bonus Qualifications
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation or optimization.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Lean manufacturing certification or extensive experience applying Lean principles.
