Operations Manager

Our Material Handling segment at Alta Equipment Group is seeking an Operations Manager to run our Lewiston branch. The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of the parts and service departments along with daily branch operations. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:

Oversee all aspects of operationsDrive business to meet forecasted goals while adding growthP&L for Parts and ServiceEmployee and customer relationsMonitor building conditionInventory controlFluent in the operations of the Parts and Service department in order to cover for any staff that may be offIncorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activitiesIncorporating Safety into daily activitiesPerforms other duties as assignedBranch Budget developmentCapEx building upgrade budgetsConsistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time

Qualifications

A minimum of 4-6 years of management experienceBachelor's degree is preferredDealership experience is highly preferredAbility to effectively lead othersTime management skillsComputer Skills- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Business Intelligence (BI); Crystal Reports, Fleetmatics, PayTrace, Concur, ExtendLanguage Skills- Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Mathematical Skills- Intermediate: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability- High: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Compensation Range: $90,000-100,000/year plus incentives. This range is regarding base pay only and does not include benefits and potential bonuses. Overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographical location, skillset, education, and experience.
