Michael Page is recruiting for a role in the Industrial Manufacturing space based in Memphis, TN. The Operations Manager will play a critical leadership role across site operations, with a particular focus on warehousing, logistics, team leadership, safety, and continuous improvement. This individual will become the Plant Manager's key operational partner, allowing greater focus on strategic manufacturing initiatives.
Lead daily operations across warehousing, inventory, logistics, and site support functions.
Develop strong relationships across production, distribution, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
Promote and maintain a best-in-class safety culture while driving compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
Manage operational performance through key metrics including productivity, inventory accuracy, safety, quality, and customer service.
Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline employees while fostering accountability and engagement.
Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and efficiencies across the operation.
Support the rollout and optimization of enterprise systems, operational controls, and scalable business processes.

For the Operations Manager we are seeking:
Previous leadership experience within manufacturing, chemical processing, industrial operations, distribution, logistics, or a related environment.
Strong people leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust across multiple departments and personalities.
Experience managing supervisors, leads, and indirect teams in a fast-paced operational setting.
Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Experience driving process improvements, operational excellence, lean initiatives, and performance metrics.
Ability to balance hands-on floor leadership with strategic operational planning.
ERP system experience; exposure to Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Dynamics, or similar enterprise platforms is preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Chemical manufacturing experience is highly desirable, although strong operations leaders from adjacent industries will also be considered.
Base salary of $75,000 - $85,000.
