Fit is seeking a highly capable, hands-on operations manager who thrives at the intersection of field execution and internal operations. This individual will take full ownership of inventory and equipment management, support scheduling and crew coordination, and build the systems needed to keep our day-to-day operations running efficiently. Pay is in the $55K – $70K range, DOE plus benefits.ResponsibilitiesOversee inventory and equipment management across all job sites and company yard, ensuring accurate tracking, availability, and efficient utilizationMaintain equipment logs, coordinate maintenance and repairs, and conduct regular audits to ensure operational readinessDevelop procurement processes and reorder systems to prevent material shortages and reduce wasteSupport field operations by coordinating materials and equipment with scheduling needs and serving as a key contact for crew logisticsConduct site visits to assess needs, resolve issues, and communicate updates to leadershipEstablish and improve systems, processes, and standard operating procedures for inventory and field logisticsCollaborate cross-functionally and provide regular reporting on inventory, equipment status, and operational performanceQualifications3+ years of operations, field coordination, or logistics experience in construction or a related trade environmentDemonstrated experience managing equipment fleets, material inventory, or field logistics for multiple concurrent crews or projectsComfortable in the field \u2014 able to conduct site visits, interact with crew leads, and assess conditions hands-onProficient with basic technology tools \u2014 spreadsheets, inventory software, or construction management platforms
