Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee terminal operations including vessel, yard, gate, and rail activities. This leadership role is responsible for managing union labor, coordinating equipment and operations, ensuring safety compliance, and driving efficient terminal performance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily terminal operations and workforce activities
  • Supervise frontline leadership, planners, and union labor
  • Coordinate staffing, equipment utilization, and operational planning
  • Monitor vessel productivity and operational performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, labor agreements, and operational procedures
  • Partner with Maintenance & Repair teams to maximize equipment availability
  • Prepare productivity and operational reports
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • 2–5 years of experience managing union labor in terminal, maritime, logistics, or transportation operations
  • Experience with computerized operating systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license required
