What We Are Looking For

The Registrar's Office is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, coordinate projects and support strategic initiatives within the office. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery of services that support students, faculty and staff throughout the academic lifecycle.

The Operations Manager serves as a project leader, operational resource and communications coordinator while helping improve processes, managing office operations and supervising student employees. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do

Project Leadership

  • Manage multiple operational and strategic projects for the Registrar's Office.
  • Lead and support change management efforts that improve office processes and procedures.
  • Track project progress, priorities and deadlines while coordinating with campus partners.

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operational functions of the Registrar's Office.
  • Assist the Registrar and Associate Registrars with strategic planning and process improvements.
  • Support and troubleshoot software and hardware systems used in office operations.
  • Process forms and daily reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Respond to student, faculty and staff inquiries through walk-in, phone and email service.

Communications

  • Develop, edit and coordinate communications for students, faculty and staff.
  • Manage Registrar's Office website content, academic calendars and course catalog updates.
  • Ensure information is accurate, timely and accessible.

Programming & Collaboration

  • Coordinate Registrar's Office events and initiatives.
  • Partner with other university departments on registration-related programming and campus events.

Supervision

  • Recruit, train and supervise student employees.
  • Provide ongoing guidance, evaluation and support.

What Qualifies You For This Position

Required

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of progressively responsible experience in project or program management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Commitment to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Ability to work primarily on the McMinnville campus with occasional evening or weekend work as needed.

Physical Requirements

Work is primarily performed in an office environment and includes extended periods of sitting and computer use, frequent walking and standing, occasional stair climbing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
