The Operations Manager oversees day-to-day operations at one or more manufacturing plants or facilities, focusing on improving production efficiency, driving cost savings, and ensuring quality and safety standards. This role is integral to enhancing the organization's financial performance through continuous process improvement, resource optimization, and strategic workforce management.
Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.
Identify and implement best practices and process improvements that optimize cost, reduce lead time, and enhance product quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between production goals and business objectives.
Develop and manage a comprehensive manufacturing plan and production schedule that balances demand with capacity, maximizing output while minimizing overhead costs.
Adjust production schedules as needed to accommodate changes in customer demand, resource availability, or equipment performance.
Establish, monitor, and enforce quality control standards, ensuring products meet organizational and industry standards.
Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring all employees follow safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment.
Track and report on vendor performance, ensuring that external suppliers meet quality and delivery requirements.
Manage staffing levels to optimize labor costs, adjusting schedules as needed to meet production targets without sacrificing quality or safety.
Lead, mentor, and develop team members, ensuring clear communication and fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Ensure adherence to all relevant safety, environmental, and quality policies and regulations.
Complete all necessary documentation fully and accurately, including production reports, safety audits, and compliance checks.
Promote and enforce 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement across all operational areas.

Education: Bachelor's
Experience: At least 6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or operations, with a proven track record in managing production teams and driving process improvements.
Experience with manufacturing systems, lean production methodologies, and operational efficiency initiatives.
