Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day operations to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets outlined in the contract Performance Work Statement.
Communicate regularly with military commanders, government property book officers, and CORs to resolve issues.
Enforce adherence to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), related to the execution of Cost Reimbursable contracts and specific military logistics or security directives referenced for such execution.
Oversee 100% adherence to protocols for Government Furnished Property (GFP), Government Furnished Materials (GFM), Contractor Accquired Property (Equipment and materials) CAP.
Prepare status updates, deliverable logs, and financial performance reports for corporate and military leadership.
Coordinate/guide other contract teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
Work with the Business office to manage budgets, forecast costs, and optimize resource allocation.
Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, contractors, and government agencies. (When Program Manager is unavailable).
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field (master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a government contracting environment.
Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Six Sigma are advantageous.
5+ years in program operations, supply chain, and/or logistics, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role supporting defense or federal contracts.
Strong understanding of government contracting procedures and regulations.
Strong familiarity with FAR/DFARS clauses, Department of Defense (DoD) instructions, and service-specific supply or acquisition guidelines.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to analyze performance data and implement improvements.
Ability to obtain and hold appropriate level of DoD security clearance, Common Access Card (CAC), or relevant public trust designation
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
