Activities and Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and managing annual budgets and capital investments.
• Engages with sales, engineering, distributors departments, as well as customers directly.
• Directs and manages plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality, production, production control, finance, and Environmental Health and Safety.
• Leads Environmental Health and Safety and compliance initiatives ensuring all facility members adhere to NSK policies and procedures.
• Removes constraints through the allocation of human and equipment resources to maximize plant profitability.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provides coaching and guidance that motivates the staff to meet or exceed plant policy goals and objectives.
• Develops and executes succession planning and employee development.
• Establishes and maintains a positive community relationship by actively engaging with leaders in city/county/state government, law enforcement and civic groups and organizations.
• Schedules and conducts plant wide meetings, meets with and welcomes customers, suppliers and other plant visitors.
• Prepares and coordinates for corporate review, plant performance to KPI metrics at regular intervals - weekly/monthly/annually.
