About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will join the Operations (Ops) Solutions team, acting as the primary interface point for product verticals into the service delivery team. You will streamline work intake and program design, and translate requirements into scalable, cost-effective, and customer-centric solutions to deliver value for consumers and stakeholders.

In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google's diverse product ecosystem. Additionally we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration and more).

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $111000 - $160000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefitsLearn more about benefits at Google.

Responsibilities

  • Engage product vertical support teams to understand product-specific support needs and develop operational strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional execution of operational strategies in partnership with vendor managers to ensure timely delivery and performance in line with KPI goals.
  • Identify and regularly share product-specific opportunities for improving the product and support experience with relevant stakeholders.
  • Guide annual planning and budgeting activities for a portfolio of products across 1:1, community, and social channels, and ensure spend across the year tracks toward goals.
  • Drive cross-product projects to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our support channels while driving more satisfying and delightful experiences for our users.
Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status.
