Title: Operations Specialist
Location: Chicago, IL (O‘Hare area; remote initially, then on-site)
Job Type: Full-time, W2
Salary Range: 55,000–55,000–75,000 per year
Summary:
Handle end-to-end cross-border logistics operations: booking, documentation, shipment tracking, exception resolution, data entry, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Process air/ocean bookings, customs docs, and track shipments
Resolve exceptions (delays, damages, customs issues)
Coordinate with airlines, overseas agents, last-mile carriers
Maintain accurate data in WMS
Support cost reconciliation and billing
Generate operational reports (transit time, carrier performance)
Requirements:
1+ year international freight forwarding or cross-border logistics experience
Familiar with WMS/TMS; Lingxing experience a plus
Detail-oriented and accountable
Bilingual in English and Chinese
Basic knowledge of U.S. customs clearance preferred
Willing to work on-site near O‘Hare after initial period
