Position Overview
ITSC is seeking multiple Operations Specialists to provide 24/7 operational support to the Missile Warning and Test operations team. This role ensures continuous system operations through round-the-clock mission support and demonstrates competence across all aspects of system operations and maintenance in a mission-critical environment.
Impact of the Role
The Operations Specialist directly supports mission assurance by maintaining uninterrupted Missile Warning system operations. This role plays a vital part in ensuring system availability, operational reliability, and timely response to mission events within a 24/7 operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support 24/7 operations ensuring continuous system availability
Perform system operations and maintenance in accordance with approved procedures
Monitor system performance and respond to operational events and anomalies
Execute shift operations, handovers, and continuity of operations activities
Coordinate with senior operators, engineers, and integration teams to resolve issues
Adhere to operational, safety, and security requirements at all times
Support training, certification, and readiness activities as required
Required Knowledge & Technical Expertise
24/7 mission operations environments
System operations and sustainment
Operational procedures and maintenance practices
Mission monitoring and incident response
Team-based operations in high-reliability environments
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience supporting 24/7 operations for DoD, space, or mission-critical systems
Bachelor's degree in a technical, operational, or related discipline
Demonstrated experience performing system operations and maintenance
Ability to work rotating shifts and support continuous operations
Active TS/SCI clearance
