What You'll Do
- Coordinate freight shipments with carriers and customers.
- Source, onboard, and dispatch carriers while negotiating rates.
- Manage customer loads, carrier assignments, and rate quotes.
- Track shipments and oversee pickup and delivery appointments.
- Utilize company systems to support daily freight operations.
- Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree OR at least two years of full-time work experience
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn company, software, and technology
- PREFERRED: 1+ year of freight brokerage, carrier sales, dispatch, carrier operations, or customer service experience preferred
