POSITION SUMMARY
Plans, organizes, and oversee' s operation functions within the organization to ensure that policies and procedures are followed from day to day.
POSITION DETAILS
- · Assist in planning a daily production schedule, working closely with the production team to ensure jobs are able to meet the customer on time deliveries demands.
- · Review and assist with production as needed on scheduling staffing as needed
- · Determine the material resources required
- · Manage human and material resources to meet production targets
- · Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification, and procurement
- · Work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations
- · Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to
- · Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
- · Set production goals and ensure the goals are being met.
- · Determine and implement improvements to the production process
- · Prepare and maintain production reports
- · Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement
Supervisory Responsibilities
- · Oversee all activities within Operations, this includes interviewing, hiring, training, planning, receiving, picking, production, shipping, inventory, etc.:
- · Responsible for managing performance of associates through in and out put.
- · Responsible for assuring the training of new associates within the operation teams.
- · Addressing employee issues or concerns as they arise according to company policy.
- · Ensure processes and procedures are being followed by departments.
- · To ensure Vista's core responsibilities are upheld on a day-to-day operation.
- · End of day result, to produce a quality product to the end user, within a timely manner.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- · Expected to be on the floor 8 hours a day to accurately monitor the floor and ensure team stays on track.
- · Must be proficient with the Warehouse Management System
- · Good written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to communicate directly with the customer.
