Essential Job Functions:

  • Work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment

  • Coordinate and supervise the on-site and supplier's off-site warehouse activities to meet customer's requirements
  • Establish work schedules for supplier personnel, matching customer's operational needs
  • Ensure that the schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly
  • Maintain the security and safety of the supplier's off-site warehouse
  • Manage the training of employees and their training records
  • Ensure cross-training of employees to ensure business continuity and efficiency for the customer
  • Coordinate improvement exercises when deficiencies occur in supplier's off-site warehouse processes
  • Participate in the operations of the supplier's off-site warehouse to achieve prescribed objectives
  • Assist in completing all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Oversee the inventory management process to ensure the integrity of the inventory
  • Participate in customer meetings to support their logistics needs
  • Work overtime when necessary to meet customer needs

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management of the 3PL project in association with customer's logistics team while following all applicable company and U.S. Government regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 3PL project including inventory management, training programs, shipping, and handling of customer materials
  • Monitor priorities of engines and engine part shipments as provided on the Delivery Note

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Required:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
  • Valid driver's license
  • US work authorization
  • Self-motivated

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, distribution, warehouse management or similar degree
  • ERP system experience with inventory management
  • SAP experience
  • 3-5 years of direct experience in shipping/receiving and/or inventory/warehouse management
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and management skills; with a focus on team orientation and collaboration skills

This position will work Monday - Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm (2nd Shift).
