Operations Supervisor

Kern County | Full Time | Onsite
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 annually

We are working with a client who is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead and coordinate daily operations in a fast-paced environment. This Operations Supervisor will oversee a team of approximately 30-40 drivers and 5 dispatchers, ensuring workflows run efficiently, service expectations are met, and the team operates safely and effectively. Our client is looking for a hands-on leader who can manage day-to-day priorities, improve processes, develop employees, and quickly resolve operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities for an Operations Supervisor:

Supervise, support, and provide daily direction to a team of 30-40 drivers and 5 dispatchers
Oversee daily operations, scheduling, workflow, and staffing needs
Monitor employee performance, attendance, productivity, and safety compliance
Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and overall operational efficiency
Resolve scheduling, service, delivery, and operational issues in a timely manner
Coach, train, and develop team members to achieve performance and operational goals
Maintain accurate operational records and track key performance metrics
Partner with leadership and other departments to ensure business and customer needs are met

Qualifications for an Operations Supervisor:

3+ years of operations, transportation, logistics, distribution, or similar supervisory experience
Proven experience leading and developing frontline employees
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Strong focus on safety, accountability, teamwork, and customer service
