Summary:
This position is responsible for leading a team of Quality Inspectors and overseeing Quality Management Services, including tool calibration, CMM lab, and non-conforming processes. The role requires a strong presence on the shop floor, with a flexible schedule to accommodate various shifts and overtime as needed.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of Quality Inspectors in a factory setting.
  • Manage Quality Management Services, ensuring tool calibration, CMM lab operations, and non-conforming processes are effectively executed.
  • Spend approximately 70% of time supporting the shop floor and 30% in the office.
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure quality standards are maintained and improved.
  • Work closely with the hiring manager to determine exact shift hours and manage overtime requirements.
 
Qualifications:
  • A 4-year degree is strongly preferred, along with 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Candidates without a 4-year degree will be considered if they have demonstrated supervisory experience.
 
Skills:
  • Strong supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with quality processes and fundamentals.
  • Flexibility with work and an ability to learn new things.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Willingness to work off-shift, overtime, and some weekends.
 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $33.11 - $33.11 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
