Job Title: Operations Supervisor

Position Summary: The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading production or warehouse teams, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining productivity standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role supports operational goals by managing employee performance, coordinating workflow, and ensuring quality and customer service expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations to ensure productivity, quality, and safety targets are achieved.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members through training, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and production schedules to meet customer demands.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
• Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate operational priorities to team members.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues, employee concerns, and customer service challenges.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, quality, attendance, and efficiency.
• Partner with Human Resources on hiring, onboarding, disciplinary actions, and employee development.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions to enhance performance.
• Maintain accurate operational reports, attendance records, and production data.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and other departments to minimize downtime and optimize operations.
• Promote a positive and inclusive work environment focused on teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or operations environments.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards, quality systems, and operational best practices.
• Experience with workforce scheduling and performance management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience.
• Experience managing teams of 20+ employees.
• Knowledge of inventory management and production planning.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
