Responsibilities:

Provide leadership to drivers, dock workers, and office staff in alignment with OHFL culture and company policies.Supervise and support P&D and linehaul operations to ensure freight moves efficiently and on schedule.Dispatch drivers for pickups and deliveries, optimize routes, and verify accurate documentation.Manage payroll functions, including reviewing and approving timecards.Oversee outbound dock operations, ensuring freight is loaded, staged, and handled properly.Enforce safety protocols, operational procedures, and compliance standards.Conduct monthly driver safety meetings and support training initiatives.Deliver proactive customer service by addressing inquiries, scheduling freight pickups, and resolving shipment delays or misroutes.Monitor operational metrics to identify and implement efficiency improvements.Manage team performance, including accountability, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.Utilize OHFL systems to maintain data accuracy, resolve operational issues, and ensure smooth workflows.Cover various shifts as needed to ensure consistent operational support.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or customer-facing role, ideally in transportation (LTL experience preferred).Strong problem-solving skills, especially in time-sensitive situations.Proven ability to manage and motivate a team to meet performance goals.Excellent communication and customer service abilities.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); AS400 experience is a bonus.Highly organized, with the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
