Emerald Technologies is seeking a results-driven and people-focused Operations Supervisor, also known as Test Coordinator, to lead and manage the day-to-day operations for their assigned team. This role carries formal leadership authority and is responsible for driving performance, ensuring compliance, developing team members, and maintaining high operational standards. The Coordinator plays a key role in executing the company's strategy by aligning team activities with business goals, managing personnel matters, and tracking performance against defined KPIs and metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise daily team activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to quality and efficiency standards.
  • Approve timecards, time-off requests, and schedule changes in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide consistent coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations, including conducting regular one-on-one meetings and annual reviews.
  • Initiate and document verbal and written warnings as needed; participate in disciplinary and termination processes in collaboration with HR and upper management.
  • Monitor team and individual performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and productivity metrics; implement action plans for improvement as needed.
  • Support team development by identifying training needs, mentoring employees, and facilitating professional growth opportunities.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for complex issues, customer concerns, or operational challenges, resolving them efficiently or routing appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams and departments to align goals and optimize workflow
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and handle sensitive personnel matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting and acting on KPIs and performance data.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant systems and tools (e.g., timekeeping software, reporting tools, performance management platforms).
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining a positive and supportive team culture.

  • Meet or exceed departmental KPI targets (e.g., productivity, quality, attendance, customer satisfaction, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to timekeeping, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
