Operations Support Associate (Banking Operations)
Pay Rate:
$19.50/hr
Locaiton: PHILADELPHIA, PA Onsite
Shift: 
06:00 AM - 04:45 PM – Sat and Sun
01:00 PM - 11:45 PM – Sat and Sun

We are partnering with a leading financial institution seeking detail-oriented Operations Support Associates to join a high-volume banking operations team in Philadelphia. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy structured, production-based work, have strong attention to detail, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.

In this role, you will support the processing of financial transactions, documentation, and customer correspondence while ensuring accuracy, productivity, and compliance with established procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build experience within banking operations and financial services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming payments, documents, and customer correspondence accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare, organize, sort, and verify documents for processing.
  • Perform data entry and transaction verification while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Operate processing equipment and utilize internal systems to complete assigned work.
  • Balance completed work and identify routine processing discrepancies or exceptions.
  • Maintain productivity and quality standards in a high-volume production environment.
  • Follow established operational procedures, compliance requirements, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to resolve routine operational issues.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail processing and document distribution.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to overall team success.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 6 months of operations, administrative, production, data entry, customer service, or related experience (or equivalent combination of work experience, military service, training, or education).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy while working efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, email, and navigating multiple systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet productivity goals and processing deadlines.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in banking operations, payment processing, financial services, or document processing.
  • Experience working in a production or high-volume operational environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
