POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations Support is an entry level position. The Operations Support, with supervision and mentorship will be responsible for ensuring flawless execution of the order process from point of order placement through tofinal customer payment. The work performed follows pre-established standards and policies to achieve customer satisfaction standard procedures and is routine in nature.

This is a high-volume, fast-paced position. It requires developed skills in the areas of attention to detail, problem-solving and customer service. This role demonstrates a commitment to customer experience as they identify and remove roadblocks that may occur throughout the automated order processes. They will showcase their attention to detail and ability to flex in response to shifting priorities across a broad range of tasks, which include order planning, exception management, inventory management, payment resolution, and ongoing process improvement projects to drive operational efficiencies. Written and verbal communication skills will be critical for success as they convey information that requires little interpretation to team members, customers, suppliers, and supplier's partners.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

• Leverage technology and process to identify issue & work with team members to remove roadblocks

• Build collaborative relationships with internal and external parties to execute day to day informational, product, pricing and transportation needs across multiple accounts

• Learn to manage and plan order activities on a frequent basis and ensure all tasks are completed and accurate in the operating systems

• Learn coordination of order-related tasks and information, including but not limited to, track and trace of shipments, exception management, inventory reconciliation, inventory forecasting and replenishment, invoicing and reconciliation of claims and credits, and pricing

• Learn to act on exception orders through problem solving and processing orders that do not flow through the system properly by working with the client, transportation service providers, distribution partners, product supply partners and any other relevant third party to mitigate the impact of any issues

• Learn to maintain item-level data in company systems, e.g. pack sizes, pricing, and commodity descriptions

• Learn to maintain contact with vendors to ensure a continuous supply of goods

• Identify and assist in mitigating service failures, e.g. late deliveries, etc. to minimize impact to customer deliveries

• Provide excellent levels of customer service through proactive, professional communication and prompt responses to external parties' inquiries

• Communicate business operational status to the team

• Perform to tactical and operational KPI targets

• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

• Developed Customer Service and problem-solving skills

• Process-oriented; assist in opportunities for improvement in existing processes

• Strong customer orientation skills, commitment to customer service excellence

• Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to learn to explain facts, policies and practices related to job area

• Strong attention to detail

• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Participate to resolve issues in a timely manner
