We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Support Engineer/Assistant to join our client's team in the industrial sector. In this role, you will contribute to providing direct technical support for ongoing rental and sales activities, cataloging and consolidating field data, and serving as a key customer point of contact.
Responsibilities
Provide direct support to clients running Extreme equipment in the field
Escalate issues to the proper technical role within the Extreme organization as necessary
Catalog information from equipment activity and issues in the appropriate SLB business systems
Consolidate information regularly to update the Extreme organization on ongoing field activity
Requirements
Recent MWD experience, specifically electromagnetic (EM) telemetry (within the last 3–5 years)
Strong computer literacy (Excel, PowerBI)
Min 2 year technical degree required
3-5 years of direct field experience in a directional drilling/MWD service business in North America Land
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Prior SLB/Extreme experience, with XEM/xBolt experience
Working knowledge of XEM, xBolt, and other Extreme or SLB MWD systems ideal
Familiarity with rotary steerable systems
Familiarity with MS Excel, PowerBI, and other basic data analysis tools
Comfortable talking directly with customers
