Operations Support Engineer/Assistant

FieldBridge is looking for a Command Specialist in Katy, TX to work for the world's largest oilfield services company. We offer weekly pay + benefits.

Pay is $35–$45/hour (DOE) | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM  | Weekly pay every Friday | Overtime opportunities available | At $45/hr and 50 hrs/week, earn weekly paychecks of $2,475 gross.

Position Overview
The Command Specialist provides direct technical support for ongoing rental and sales activity on Extreme's MWD equipment fleet. This role serves as a key point of contact for field operators, supporting issue resolution and keeping the organization informed on field activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to clients running Extreme equipment in the field
• Escalate issues to the proper technical role within the organization as necessary
• Catalog information from equipment activity and issues in the appropriate SLB business systems
• Consolidate information regularly to update the organization on ongoing field activity
• Perform rotating shift coverage to maintain 24/7 support for field operations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year technical degree
• 3–5 years of direct field experience in directional drilling/MWD service in North America Land
• Recent MWD experience, specifically electromagnetic (EM) telemetry, within the last 3–5 years
• Strong computer literacy (Excel, PowerBI)
• Working knowledge of XEM, xBolt, or other Extreme/SLB MWD systems preferred
• Familiarity with rotary steerable systems a plus
• Comfortable communicating directly with customers
