Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead an operations team of 4-6 members responsible for transportation, and warehouse functions.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on special projects of strategic importance, creating and managing cross functional teams to achieve objectives.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of projects, including the creation of project plans, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and summarizing progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage new distribution center project planning and physical site moves
  • Support automation roadmap
  • Manage racking and warehouse layout projects
  • Identify current gaps in the daily operation and manage operational excellence plans to improve the future state
  • Manage project performance, changes to project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate business methods reporting and escalating when appropriate.
  • Develop and implement external benchmarking and comparison measures that support strategies and tactics for business improvement
  • Travel up to 75%
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor''s Degree with 6 to 8 years of related experience and 3 plus years of leadership experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 9 to 11 plus years of specific experience and 5 plus years of leadership experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master's Degree
