Position: Operations Support Representative

Position Location

Citizens Bank - Account Service Center

Type: Non-Exempt/Non-Officer

Reports to: ASC Operations Officer

Description

As an Operations Support Representative working in our Account Service Center (ASC), you will be cross trained in all areas of the Department and provide back up support when necessary. This includes but is not limited to Wires, ACH Receipt, Item Processing, Card Services. You will also be responsible for assisting with Branch Support & Research.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties

  • Branch Support & Research
  • Process Garnishments & Levies
  • General Ledger Balancing and Certifications
  • Safepoint Reconciliation
  • Responsible for sorting incoming postmarked mail by department, location, or category (e.g., bills, notices, personal, returned mail)
  • Prepare correspondence to be mailed
  • Perform courier duties by motor vehicle on an as-needed basis

  • Item Processing Desk
  • Wire Desk
  • Card Services Desk

General

  • Build, develop, and maintain partnerships with teammates and other departments to maximize effectiveness and to best serve our customers.
  • Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and other banking regulations.
  • Help maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Maintain the safety, integrity, and confidentiality of customer information.
  • Model the Citizens Bank Corporate Culture in all aspects of interactions and work.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Responsible for completing all training courses assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating Windows based PC.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, auto insurance, and personal vehicle.
  • Experience with general office equipment such as copier, scanner, fax, 10-key, filing systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some experience in a Financial Institution or in a highly regulated industry.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to regularly kneel, reach, bend, push, pull, carry up to 50 pounds.
