Job Overview:
Requirement/Must Have:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Welding experience is required.
- 5+ years mechanical assembly experience is required.
- Familiarity with ISO 9000 requirements and continuous improvement methods.
- Willingness to travel 10-50% of the month, with extensive travel as needed.
- Must have a valid drivers license and the ability to drive to customer sites.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid CDL license.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have initiative and ability to work effectively with little direction and/or few guidelines.
- Excellent analytical, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and provide technical assistance.
- Provide customer preventative maintenance (PM) service and on-site customer warranty work.
- Perform equipment start-up for larger sifter equipment and other major installations.
- Rebuild and maintain centrifuge RTAs and other specialized equipment.
- Maintain field test equipment.
- Create and maintain an open and effective communication system between field sales, customer service, and sales management.
- Troubleshoot equipment and repair to meet customer expectations.
- Provide technical assistance via phone or other forms of communication.
- Provide application, modification, and warranty information on equipment.
- Complete technical product reports regarding product problems encountered.
- Provide sales support for visiting customers to conduct field tests on equipment as requested.
- Plan and establish work schedule and assignments to meet customer demands.
- Perform field testing along with quality and safety audits as requested.
Nice to Have:
- Welding certification and/or trade school completion is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and electrical background is preferred.
