Operations System Administrator

We are seeking a Systems Administrator responsible for installing/upgrading software, applying patches, and troubleshooting system issues across operating systems, servers, and networks. Knowedge of AWS, Linux and container technologies (EKS) is required.

Description

• Install new software releases and perform system upgrades
• Evaluate, test, and apply software patches
• Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues, escalating when necessary
• Perform regular system backups and manage recovery processes
• Maintain data files and monitor system configurations to ensure data integrity
• Support and manage technologies including operating systems, servers, networks, system security, hardware, and related software applications
• Identify and troubleshoot system issues across supported environments
• Create and maintain system documentation, including configuration details and backup procedures

Profile

• Experienced in AWS, Linux and Containers (EKS is preferred)
• Monitoring, backup and storage operations experience
• Experience with software installation, upgrades, and patching
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues
• Familiarity with operating systems, servers, networks, and system documentation
