We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Operations Team Member will be responsible for a variety of duties dependent upon the needs of the facility for the day while providing all guests with top-quality experience. This position is an active part of the conversion/changeover process before, during and after events. Duties require converting the facility and assisting with any event-oriented preparation/setup for sporting events to run safely and efficiently. Operations Team Members should be open and willing to learn all aspects of the general operating procedures.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staffBe responsive to guest concerns and direct to appropriate manager to resolveEnforce facility policies and proceduresHave general knowledge of facility grounds, specific to each event assisting guests with directionsSet up and take down benches, chairs, sports equipment, water stations, and other event related itemsEnsure correct equipment is available for all games / eventsMonitor play areas including playing field and spectator areasKeep supervisor informed of issues and updatesRespond to all incidents, accidents, injuries, and altercations notifying appropriate personnel Complete and file corresponding paperwork as necessaryAssist with daily maintenance and upkeep of facilityMaintain and assist with custodial responsibilities before, during, and after events to assure a clean facilityAssist with parking, including directing customers to parking spots, maintaining orderly and efficient parking operations, etc.Operating scoreboard / microphone / music system, and other equipment as needed for eventsSelling, collecting, and assisting in ticket operations for facility eventsAssist other departments as necessaryPerform all other duties as assigned by management MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders and fellow team membersMust work well with othersMust take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facilityMust have excellent guest service skillsMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to work with a wide variety of ages from preschool through adultFlexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours) and regular attendance is necessaryExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentAbility to multi-task and prioritizeAbility to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situationsCommitment to the safety and wellbeing of others WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds waist highWill be required to stand for extended periods of timeWill be required to work indoors and outdoors year-roundMust be able to work both independently and as a team in a busy environmentMust comply with safety and health code standardsFacility has intermittent noiseMust wear proper uniformAble to run/walk as needed
