Operations Technician

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a** Operation Technician** to join a local company in the Palestine, TX area.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate furnace and grinding equipment to achieve quality and production targets.
• Operate plant vehicles, including forklifts and front-end loaders, to support production activities.
• Conduct basic analytical testing to confirm material quality during processing.
• Interpret analytical data and make necessary process adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Monitor product levels within process equipment, record data in computer databases, and complete required paper logs.
• Maintain housekeeping and perform basic maintenance in the production area.
• Actively participate in Health, Safety, and Environmental programs, including monthly plant audits, accident investigations, and hazard identification reporting.

Requirements:

• Prior experience operating industrial machinery or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and front-end loaders (certification preferred).
• Basic knowledge of analytical testing and process monitoring.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow written and verbal instructions.
