    As Operations Technician, you'll be called upon to support pipeline operations, safely maintain facility equipment and maintain and analyze data to solve technical and operational problems. Safety is - of course - a top priority.

    For Operations Technician II:

    Responsibilities/Expectations:

    • Performs a variety of tasks to safely maintain facility equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings, inspecting/monitoring equipment and maintaining operation/technical standards and/or governmental requirements
    • Responsible for data analysis and collaboration with others to find solutions to technical or operational problems
    • Follows all Company policies and applies appropriate operating and maintenance procedures
    • Acquires knowledge of and complies with requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets
    • Maintains general knowledge of site/location/equipment specific permits and compliance
    • Completes assigned reports, logs and maintains accurate records of process operations and performance of preventative maintenance on equipment
    • Other duties as assigned

    Education/Years of Experience:

    • Required: High School Diploma/GED, a minimum of two (2) years' experience as an Operations Technician or similar role and a minimum of one (1) years' experience as an Operations Technician in the Oil and Gas Industry
    • Preferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree

    Physical and Environment Work Requirements:

    Must be able to:

    • Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
    • Carry and lift items that weigh a minimum of 50 lbs
    • Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
    • Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
    • Use hand tools

    Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:

    • Must be able to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holiday as needed
    • May be required to work overtime, 10-12 hour shifts and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays

    Other Requirements:

    • Must possess valid State Driver's License and clean driving record
    • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
    • Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills and basic knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers

    ADDITIONAL DESCRIPTION

    Other Requirements:

    • Will be required to relocate within 45 minutes of our Starks or Cameron, LA facilities within 1 year of start date if you are not already living in the area.

    COMPRESSION/MAINTENANCE

    • Performs preventive compressor station and pipeline facility maintenance
    • Troubleshoot, operate and maintain all compressor station and/or natural gas processing plant equipment and facilities
    • Minimum one (1) year of experience of maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of centrifugal machinery/equipment and with compressors and/or other compression equipment

    For Operations Technician I:

    • Preferred: Six (6) months mechanical, technical, or controls systems experience in the Oil and Gas industry or Operations Technician Summer Internship with Associates Degree
