We have an exciting new opportunity for an Operations Technician in Norfolk, Virginia!
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in Industrial or plant operations, Material handling, Warehouse or production environments, Mechanical aptitude positions, Safety-sensitive work environments
- Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Must have basic math skills and calculator use.
- Must have basic knowledge of how to use Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Need to Shake and scrape belts of machinery to unclog coal to ensure it is flowing properly
- Document and tag readings from machinery in Word and Excel
- Monitor equipment ensuring that everything is operating properly
- Clean equipment and machinery at the end of the shift to ensure workspace is ready for next shift
Schedule:
- Must be flexible on schedules- Schedules rotate monthly
- Three 12 hour shifts and One 6 hour shift weekly
Pay:
- $18-$20/hr based on experience
