JT4 is looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Operations Test Analyst to join their team at Hill AFB in Utah

The role plans, coordinates, and executes full-cycle data requirements for developmental and operational testing of internal and external customer systems. Serves as the interface between instrumentation engineers and test customers to define, negotiate, and implement test requirements related to cost, data, and systems, while ensuring accurate parametric data collection, analysis, and delivery that reflects system configuration and operational characteristics in real-time mission support environments.

 Employee will be responsible to perform the following functions/duties:

  • Support small project teams through test planning, execution, review of Program Introduction Documents (PIDs), develop program support plans (PSP), and reporting activities.
  • Apply knowledge of test processes, EW, RF, and network/data link protocols (IP, Ethernet) to support operational test programs.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define data requirements, develop support plans, and coordinate post-mission data delivery.
  • Develop and improve data analysis tools, processes, and procedures to increase efficiency and support mission objectives.
  • Conduct pre-test predictions (go/no-go criteria), define data collection requirements, monitor test execution, and adjust to evolving operational conditions.
  • Collect, quality check, analyze, and resolve data anomalies, then present findings and assist in authoring final test reports.
  • Support instrumentation, video acquisition/distribution, and data system upgrades while providing technical feedback to optimize performance.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Completion of technical training and seven years of related experience; or an associate degree and four years of related experience; or a related bachelor's degree (engineering, math, computer science, or physics) and two years of related experience; or a related master's degree. The incumbent must understand concepts, principles, and practices of engineering and analysis to enable the employee to serve as a technical authority on projects relating to the specific programs. The position requires knowledge and skill sufficient to apply the latest developments in technology to solve problems in the specialty area.

 In addition, an Operations/Test Analyst must possess the following qualifications:

  • Must maintain excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Must possess working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs
  • Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of test processes, range capabilities, and data requirements definition.
  • Expertise in EW, RF, including video editing formats and network troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work under general technical guidance in a high-pressure, real-time mission environment.
  • Knowledge of networking and data link protocols such as IP, Ethernet and Frame-Relay

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting up to (20) pounds, constant sitting while using a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadline.
