What's a typical day as an Ops Trainee? You'll be:
  • Performing basic fitting, drilling, and riveting operations using hand and pneumatic tools
  • Assisting with aircraft part assembly under supervision while learning industry standards
  • Reading and interpreting work orders, blueprints, and specification sheets
  • Aligning and assembling parts using fixtures, clamps, pins, and fasteners
  • Ensuring all work meets quality and manufacturing requirements
  • Gaining hands-on experience while working with decreasing supervision as skills improve
  • Supporting general production tasks and maintaining a clean, safe work area
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Entry-level experience with strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read scales and perform basic shop math
  • Basic understanding of blueprints, instructions, and technical documents
  • Strong communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking English)
  • Hands-on skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and meet deadlines
  • Basic computer skills
Preferred:
  • Enrollment in a Technical Aviation program
Additional Details:
  • Location: Savannah, GA 31408
  • Schedule/Shift: Weekend Night Shift Thurs. 4 Hours 5pm to 9pm; Friday through Sunday 12Hour/Day 4pm to 4:30am.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform hands-on tasks
