General Responsibilities:
The Operations Trainer will facilitate and deliver training programs to all employees including frontline, administrative, supervisors, and managers. This role focuses on OS1 Janitorial accounts and the OS1 start-up process and transition.
Salary: $70,304 - $75,000 annually
Schedule: Full-time, business hours
Specific Duties / Essential Functions:
- OS1 Start-Up process execution & employee training / facilitation.
- Leads the Start-Up process for all new accounts to include: Prestart work, building profile, SOW/SOP, job card development, on-site logistics planning.
- Facilitate in-person training/boot camp with frontline staff.
- Start-up execution and implementation. This includes tasks in relation to logistics set up and on-site training.
- Equipment assembly and installation of items related to check-in area.
- Verification and tracking of forms.
- Facilitate transition timeline to hand-off managing the account to Operations.
- Hosts all OS1 related training courses to include but not limited to: OS1 Innovations, Janitor University, Boot Camps, Start Ups, Train-the-Trainer conferences.
- Facilitate delivery of training and setting up needed equipment and training rooms. Tasks include but are not limited to preparing and distributing handouts, recording attendance, training documentation, and any other tasks deemed necessary for a successful execution of all training programs.
- Provide progress audits and coach frontline staff on process improvements and on the job knowledge.
- Support and mentor OS1 account leads and operations teams to elevate service quality and performance.
- Facilitate and support non OS1 training programs such as sexual harassment, leadership, safety, and other operational professional development programs.
Skills & Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience with employee training/facilitation is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred ; High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with a diverse employee base. Tasks could include facilitating in-person training, online meetings, and written email communication.
- Proven ability to facilitate and implement effective training.
- Proficient experience working with Microsoft Office software applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Ability to walk for extended periods across multiple job sites
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to bend, reach, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Repetitive use of hands, wrists, arms, and legs, including climbing stairs, use of ladders and keeling or squatting.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position is responsible for managing a variety of training and development programs and their execution in the field.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing some duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Travel: Extensive travel will be required, up to 75%, including long hours and frequent overnight shifts.
