LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization in the food distribution industry to identify an Operations & Warehouse Manager to lead daily operations across warehousing, production, shipping, receiving, inventory, and quality. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on operations leader who enjoys solving problems in real time, leading teams on the warehouse floor, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced, perishable products environment.
This role is based in Tualatin, OR and is 100% on-site. The ideal candidate brings experience within food manufacturing, food distribution, or other perishable environments and enjoys balancing people leadership, production planning, inventory management, and continuous improvement. This position offers a base salary of $85,000-$100,000 DOE.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily warehouse, production, shipping, receiving, and quality operations.
- Manage labor planning, production schedules, and staffing priorities in a constantly changing environment.
- Coordinate inbound materials, production timelines, and outbound customer deliveries.
- Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts, lot tracking, and warehouse organization.
- Monitor operational KPIs while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost savings.
- Partner closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, and executive leadership to prioritize customer orders and production schedules.
- Coach, develop, and lead warehouse and production supervisors while fostering accountability and teamwork.
- Ensure customer deadlines are met while maintaining high product quality standards.
- Utilize ERP systems and operational data to support production planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
- Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, communication, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of operations, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution leadership experience.
- Experience within food manufacturing, food processing, produce, agriculture, refrigerated goods, or other perishable product environments strongly preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Strong experience with production scheduling, labor planning, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
- Experience utilizing ERP systems and production planning software.
- Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-volume operational environments.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on leadership style.
- Experience using KPIs and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
